Cost of Hiring a Personal Assistant in New York City
Fees charged by a typical personal assistant agency in NYC vary depending on the agency, and the complexity of the search. They usually charge a fee or commission from 10-20% or more of the personal assistant's annual salary. For example, if the personal assistant's annual salary is $50,000, and the agency charges a 15% placement fee, the fee would be $7,500 (15% of $50,000). But we’re different.
We will provide you with your candidate matches and schedule interviews for you free of charge. Once you have interviewed your candidates and are ready to hire your favorite, we charge a one-time placement fee of $550.
You pay your PA their wages directly. Candidates in NYC are typically looking for $30-35/hr, with the minimum being $25/hr.
