While most agencies focus on full-time roles and often charge hefty fees ranging from 10% to 20% of the candidate’s salary, we offer a more affordable approach. Our Placement Fee is just $550, and we are dedicated to connecting clients with long-term, part-time personal assistants.

  • The Middle’s pool of candidates in Long Beach can fluctuate as we regularly onboard new candidates, and current candidates are placed with clients. We have had bilingual personal assistants but cannot guarantee availability. Please [reach out] and let us know your needs and we will assess potential matches at that time.

  • The Middle specializes exclusively in part-time personal assistant placements, typically for clients seeking less than 20 hours per week. At this time, we do not offer full-time personal assistant services.

  • It takes at least 10-14 days to facilitate our service, including receiving candidate matches and coordinating interviews. We schedule interviews according to your availability so how fast a personal assistant can start is partially up to you! After interviewing, generally, positions start as soon as you decide to hire!

  • We’re pleased to offer placements for candidates in fully remote roles. No matter the work arrangement—whether in-person, hybrid, or virtual—your personal assistant candidates will always be located in your city. Currently, we serve the Los Angeles area and New York City.

  • There is a 2 week trial period from the date of hire. We call this our “replacement period”, which allows for one week for training and another week for evaluation, giving you the opportunity to confirm that your hire is the right fit.
